What is Ghana’s social protection service map?

Sometimes, it can be hard to know what to do if you need help if you're feeling unsafe or if you think someone in your surroundings needs support. This map helps you stay informed on all social services available in your area: support for children out of school, support for children who are victims of abuse, support for adults who are victims of domestic abuse or labour abuse, and others. On this map, you will find information on the type of service provided, the center’s contact number, and where to go. It's important to get help if you think you or your relatives need it.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

ICI commissioned a mapping of all governmental and non-governmental services working for the protection of children and adult victims of abuse, to improve access to information on services that are available at district levels. The interactive map shows all governmental and non-governmental service providers that help identify, protect, prevent, remediate, and refer child labor cases or children at risk of the worst form of child labor and other types of abuses, as well as services protecting adult victims of gender-based violence and labour abuses, including forced labour, in cocoa-growing districts. The ICI priority districts includes Atwima Mponua, Atiwa East, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai and Wassa Amenfi East. Nevertheless, these districts are not limited to the priority districts alone.
